Vidyo AI is now quso.ai: a solid budget clipper with scheduling built in and a generous free plan. Recent reviews are scarce, and it needs your footage, so brands making new ads every week will outgrow it.
Vidyo AI Review 2026: Now quso.ai, Pricing & Features
Vidyo AI is now quso.ai. Here is what changed, what each plan costs, what users say, and when a clipping tool stops being enough for paid social.
Last updated October 14, 2026
What is Vidyo AI (now quso.ai)?
Vidyo AI was a video clipping tool that turned long YouTube videos, podcasts and webinars into short vertical clips. In January 2025 it renamed itself quso.ai. Same app, same team, same logins: vidyo.ai now redirects to quso.ai, and old Vidyo accounts carried over. If you search for Vidyo AI today, quso.ai is the product you land on.
The company behind it is vidyoAI Ventures, founded in 2021 by Vedant Maheshwari and Kushagra Pandya out of Entrepreneur First, with a team in Bengaluru and most of its revenue from US customers. The homepage claims 4M+ creators and businesses.
How Vidyo AI works
You upload a video or paste a link. quso.ai finds the moments most likely to hold attention, cuts them into vertical clips, gives each one a virality score, and adds word-by-word animated captions. Its own tagline sums up the promise: one long video, ten clips, one click.
From there you fix captions, strip filler words and silences, add B-roll and brand colors, then schedule to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, X and Pinterest from a built-in calendar. Billing runs on credits, and one credit is roughly one minute of processed video.
What changed after the rebrand
The rename was about scope. quso.ai pitches itself as a social media suite now: clipping plus a content planner, scheduling, social analytics and an AI assistant called Viddy. The December 2024 announcement also introduced an AI influencer generator.
The clipping engine is still the core, though, and we found no dated 2026 product launches. Avatar features are hard to pin down too: the old avatar page now opens a general tools catalog, so check what your plan actually includes before relying on it.

Where it helps, and where it doesn't.
What Vidyo AI does well
Generous free plan
75 minutes a month free is more than most clippers give away, which makes it easy to test on a real episode before paying.
Clipping plus scheduling in one place
Cutting, captioning and posting to seven platforms without exporting files saves a step most clipping tools still leave to you.
Fast reformatting
Turning horizontal footage into vertical clips with the speaker centered is quick and beginner-friendly.
Fair entry price
$29 a month for unlimited 1080p clips sits in line with the category, and yearly plans are often discounted.
Where teams hit friction
The name change still confuses people
Searching Vidyo AI leads to quso.ai, and older tutorials, reviews and screenshots refer to features under the old name.
Barely any recent reviews
G2, Trustpilot and Capterra each hold one review or none under quso.ai, and the 11 on Product Hunt are about two years old. There is little public signal on how it performs now.
Editor and support complaints
The reviews that exist mention a buggy editor that forces rework, aggressive upselling, no obvious way to delete an account, and slow support.
Needs footage to work with
Like every clipper, it only reshuffles video you already shot. It has no AI actor library or product-in-hand shots for paid-social ads.

Affordable Quality Ads, Easy to Use
I find EzUGC to be affordable and appreciate the great quality of the video and image ads it helps create. I particularly enjoy the video quality because it ensures that what customers see online is good, leading to more conversions for me. I also find the setup to be very simple and straightforward, which was a big plus when transitioning from Canva to using EzUGC all the time.

How the workflow fits in practice.
Where quso.ai fits
A creator or small team with a weekly long-form show who wants clips, captions and posting handled in one tab, on a budget.
Where ad teams stall
Paid social needs new angles, not reshuffled ones. Testing five hooks for a product launch means five new takes, and a clipper has nothing to cut until someone films them.
When EzUGC fits better
When you need ads without a shoot. Pick one of 300+ AI actors, write the script, and EzUGC renders a UGC-style video in about two minutes.

Caption-first editing with flashy animated subtitles, popular for talking-head Shorts.

What we checked
These review pages focus on workflow fit, pricing context, and what changes when a real team tries to ship ads every week.
- Plans and limits come from quso.ai's public pricing page on the verification date. We quote monthly prices because yearly discounts change with promotions.
- Rebrand details come from quso.ai's own announcement and its Vidyo AI page.
- Public review counts are very small, so we report them as limited signal rather than averaging them into a score.
Vidyo AI renamed itself quso.ai in January 2025, after announcing the change in December 2024. It is the same product and team, vidyo.ai redirects to quso.ai, and existing accounts, plans and projects moved over automatically.
