Excellent for turning text into narrated video in 80+ languages. Credits burn fast on AI clips, and voice over stock footage rarely beats a creator on camera, so ad teams usually need a UGC tool alongside it.

What is Fliki AI?
Fliki is a text-to-video tool built around AI voices. Paste a script, a blog URL, a slide deck or just an idea, and it writes the scenes, reads them aloud in one of 2,000+ voices across 80+ languages, and covers each scene with stock footage, AI images or AI-generated clips. It started life in late 2021 under the name Awedio and claims 14M+ users.
You will sometimes see it spelled Flicki or Flikki. Same product, at fliki.ai.
How Fliki works
Fliki works like a slide editor where every slide is a video scene. Each scene has a line of voiceover and a visual. You pick a voice (or clone your own on paid plans), choose stock media or generate visuals with models like Veo 3.1, Kling 3 Pro, Seedance 2.5 or Nano Banana 2, then export with subtitles and music.
Credits pay for everything. A voiceover-only minute costs about half a credit, while AI video clips cost 0.3 to 0.5 credits per second, so one generated clip can cost more than a full minute of narrated stock footage. That gap is where most credit complaints come from.
What changed in 2026
Fliki shipped a lot this autumn. In September came music videos (a generated song with a lip-synced performer), URL-to-explainer motion graphics in 19 styles, and a second version of its social carousel maker with brand kits. October added directed multi-speaker voiceovers and a two-host video podcast maker.
The model menu has grown too. Fliki now routes to third-party video models for generated scenes, which makes it more flexible and also more expensive per minute than its original voice-plus-stock formula.

Snapshot date: October 14, 2026
- - Plan limits come from Fliki's official pricing page. Dollar prices are cross-checked against G2's pricing listing because Fliki's page renders prices in the browser; Fliki advertises 25% off yearly billing.
- - Credits are consumed by voiceover minutes and by AI video seconds, so heavy AI-clip use drains plans faster than voiceover-only videos.

What Fliki AI does well
Voices are the standout
2,000+ voices across 80+ languages, with cloning, makes Fliki one of the easiest ways to produce narrated video in a language you do not speak.
Fast from words to video
Turning a blog post or slide deck into a narrated video takes minutes, which is why educators and content marketers like it.
Many models in one tool
Veo, Kling, Seedance and Nano Banana sit inside one editor, so you can mix generated scenes with stock footage without juggling accounts.
Well reviewed overall
4.2 on Trustpilot from 3,000+ reviews and 4.7 on both G2 and Capterra, mostly for ease of use and voice quality.
Where teams hit friction
Credits run out fast
AI clips are billed per second, so a few generated scenes can eat a Standard plan's month. Failed generations still use credits, a recurring Trustpilot complaint.
Stock-footage look
Narration over stock clips reads as an explainer. Viewers on TikTok and Reels scroll past it faster than a person talking to camera.
Avatars are secondary
The full avatar library sits on the $88 Premium plan, and reviewers rate Fliki's avatars below tools built around them.
Support complaints
Trustpilot reviewers report slow or missing support replies and scripts rewritten against instructions, and Fliki does not respond to negative reviews.

Affordable Quality Ads, Easy to Use
I find EzUGC to be affordable and appreciate the great quality of the video and image ads it helps create. I particularly enjoy the video quality because it ensures that what customers see online is good, leading to more conversions for me. I also find the setup to be very simple and straightforward, which was a big plus when transitioning from Canva to using EzUGC all the time.

How the workflow fits in practice.
Where Fliki fits
Turning written content into narrated video: blog posts, course modules, faceless YouTube channels and multilingual explainers.
Where ad teams stall
Performance ads on TikTok and Meta usually win with a person holding the product and talking. Voice over stock footage rarely beats that, and Fliki's avatars sit on its most expensive plan.
When EzUGC fits better
When the ad needs a creator on camera. Pick one of 300+ AI actors, add your product, write the script, and EzUGC renders a UGC-style ad in about two minutes.
