Why there is no single credits-per-video number

  • - Talking-actor renders bill 800 credits per minute, per actor, and round up. Two actors or a 61-second script both double the cost of a one-minute single-actor read.
  • - Short-form models are far cheaper per clip. An 8-second Seedance 2.0 render at 480p costs 192 credits, which is about a quarter of one talking-actor minute.
  • - Resolution changes the per-second rate itself. Seedance 2.0 bills 24 credits per second at 480p, 48 at 720p, and 108 at 1080p, so the same eight-second clip costs 192 or 864 depending on the setting.
  • - Post-production draws from the same pool. Captions cost 80, upscaling 80 per 10 seconds, skin enhancement 160, extending a video 320, and translation 240.
  • - Arcads does not publish a policy of refunding credits for failed generations, so model your own retry rate rather than assuming a clean run.

  • - Credit allowances and per-feature credit costs come from Arcads' public credits documentation, last updated April 29, 2026.
  • - The $110 Starter and $220 Creator prices are third-party-sourced benchmarks, not a price card published by Arcads. Both divide cleanly into the published credit counts, which is why we track them.
  • - Arcads does not publish prices for the 40,000, 80,000, and 160,000-credit tiers, so those presets leave the price for you to enter.
  • - Credits do not roll over on Starter or Creator. Rollover and overage billing are documented only from the Pro tier upward, and unused credits are not refunded on downgrade.
